  • Images and Photos: Photos you take or upload for note scanning and flashcard creation.
  • Audio Recordings: Voice recordings used to generate flashcards from spoken content.
  • Text Content: Handwritten notes processed via OCR, plus any text you manually enter.
  • Flashcards & Study Materials: Questions, answers, categories, and associated metadata.
  • Study Data: Your session history, progress metrics, performance statistics, streaks, etc.

Device & Usage Information

  • Device Identifiers: Unique device IDs, for analytics and crash reporting.
  • Device Info: Device model, OS version, app version.
  • Permissions Data: Data tied to camera, microphone, photo library access (when granted).
  • App Usage Data: How you interact with the App, features used, timestamps, session durations.
  • Performance & Crash Reports: Error logs, performance metrics, diagnostic data.

  • Note Processing: Convert your handwritten notes or audio into digital text and flashcards.

  • RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management, analytics.
  • Google Vision API: Optical character recognition (OCR) for converting images to text.

6. Children's Privacy

NoteFren is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can delete it.

7. International Users & Cross-Border Transfers

If you use NoteFren outside the U.S., be aware that your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our backend systems or service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version within the App and update the "Last Updated" date. Please review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
